Intentional Living

We face choices every single day, every single moment.

That's life! We also have the "choice" of even choosing to set goals and then taking the necessary action steps to achieving those goals.

This is what I call The Power of Intention. When we intentionally set out to make things happen and when we do the WORK, we eventually see those things materialize. Whether it is obtaining an advance degree, getting out of debt or engaging in self care, we have a choice of whether to make it happen or not.

With that being said, I want to share with you that I have been very intentional about some goals I've had the last few years. I also want to be transparent and say that I have sometimes missed the mark by being sidetracked by what others think or believe I should do. In doing this, I have experienced increased anxiety, dizziness and yes, an occasional panic attack or two.

Why? Because I allowed myself to become distracted and led away from my goals. These weren't bad things. They were actually good things, but they simply were not good for me at that time nor that season.

So I had to pivot, which meant I had to reevaluate some things and become extremely clear about obtaining my goals without being distracted. Without others trying to talk me back into those things that did not serve me nor my purpose.

So I ask you....

  • Can you imagine what your life would be like if you chose to live authentically like you were called to do or feel led to do?

  • Can you imagine the peace you will experience doing what you love, not what others feel you HAVE TO DO?

  • Can you imagine waking up tomorrow, refreshed and ready for the day?

I want you to imagine these things and then choose to making the necessary steps to fulfilling your purpose.
